Funny that as I did mine yesterday and was just going to ask if anyone has noticed there increases
Am presuming we buy any car prices are low so a sale elsewhere should be an increase in these prices.
Anyway I digress, my 997.1 has increased in value by 3k since last year :thumb:

Anyone else looked lately??

Aye, I was speaking to a mate who said his car had gone up so did a wee check. My 996 turbo is up near 5k in the last 10 months. Used car prices in general are feral just now

I checked my 98 C2 with 68k miles just after I bought it in January 2020. WBAC offered £1000!

That offer has now gone up to £10000.

I sold my 2004 986 S to WBAC about 2 months ago. It had 100k on the clock, needed the front and rear bumpers resprayed and and slight cracks repaired and they still gave me £5500 which was way more than I had been offered in p/x against the 996 C4 I now have.

It's crazy right now, 9 months ago i bought a b8.5 Audi S4 off a family friend.
WBAC offered him 9k which was ridiculous so i said well if you're going to accept that can i buy it for £9500 and he said sure.
Last week i thought I'd see what they were offering now and £15250

But I'm not selling it as one I've modified it loads and second i love it

I'm not so sure anything's actually increased in value - prices on everything are up - houses, food, cars. It's actually just the value of currency that's fallen, due to the government increasing the volume of the money supply (as measured by M0, M1) by around 20% to pay for the Covid support scheme.

Before you say the pound's up against the dollar - that's because the dollar has fallen even more due to the same taking place in the US.

£6k increase in 6 weeks for mine points to it being a bit more than the value of currency.

Sadly, anything I'd want to change to has gone up in a very similar way.

Things will settle down when availability of new cars improves.

Thats exactly it, unless selling and playing the waiting game till things settle back down there's no point selling :thumb:

I had a similair experience around that time when COVID had ended the world. I was offered 29k for my 2013 991 C2 S, that offer is now £58,980 !

My 04 C2.2 manual coupe (66k) was at £17500 last week.
Was tempted, I have to say.

Dave

I bought my 991.1 C2S in November last year at a wbac valuation price, so I knew I was up from the start. Fast forward to this week and 3500 miles later my new WBAC price is up £11500 from what I paid. :D
