Hi all,the emission light has just come on.What is the probable cause & is it serious or just needing a reset. The engine is in good nick 3.7 Hartech fully rebuilt about 4 thousand miles ago and running millers oil etc. Ideas? Mike.

Get a code reader and see what it says.

Even the £15 generic ECP OBD2 readers should be able to read the Check Engine Light.

Mine was a loose coil pack connector on cyl 1, diagnosed as a misfire on cyl 1.

Error code P0430

Code came up P0430 which is bank 2,cleared it and it hasn't come back.I think it was because my son uses it in Cambridge and it needed a good thrash to clear the exhaust.
