Aha, the new Forum! Nice one Phil!
Right, I'm looking to enter the heady world of Porsche 911 ownership for the first time!
My budget is around £18-22k. The car will be a daily driver so it'll need to be able to take say 12-15k miles per year.
So, it seems that the most obvious choice is a LHD 993 C2 (a C4 would be fine though!). I'm after one in a dark colour (preferably black or midnight blue) and I'm not that fussed about the interior colour. Obviously the lower the mileage the better, full service history with an OPC or a Specialist is essential (or as full as an import's history can be) and it needs to be in generally good shape cosmetically and mechanically with no significant previous accident repairs. Any cars which pass my personal grilling will be getting HPI'd & PPI'd so you've been warned!
