I agree with them all apart from the old Citroens and old Renaults. Only as I owned a few in my time.

NO! I love those old Renault 4's! Tres Parisienne!

Yeh they're ugly alright, feeling a bit nauseous now.... :(

But the Smart is the cutest car in modern time, how can it be ugly....
I don't care, still drive one to work just about every day....

Also liked the 2CV and bubble cars, at least they're not square and boxy.

I'd thought the Porsche 914 and Ferrari 308 (?GT4, the cheese wedge with round chin one) would be there.

But then everyone has different taste, though some have really bad taste...

They can’t put the cayenne in there.

Sure it’s ugly (especially with a Gemballa body kit :( ) but I’m sure that it was designed that way so that it would cause maximum distress to other road users whilst doing the school run.

I still plan to get one when I win the lottery.

I like the clever quote: “
it's a sad fact that whilst standing stationary on the M25, these hulks actually achieve 0 mpg.”
Isn’t that obvious?

I quite like the Morgan Aero 8! Goes like sh*t off a shovel as well.

Was having a scroll through some old postings and came across this.

Some of the cars here are absolute classics. The Citroen DS for example. There is one car though that I am really shocked to see. - BMW Z3 M Coupe. I have been considering buying one of these for a couple of months now to keep the mileage down on the Porsche. They seem a bargain at under £10k

Are there any other cars that are included that surprise you?

The Citoen DS is a design masterpiece. A beautiful car and miles ahead of it's time.
I am seriously considering buying one.

Have to agree with the last post (from seven and a half years ago - but a timeless topic). The Citroen DS is a classic.

Agree with the above posts on the DS being a design classic and fantastic looker.

Also there should maybe be a distinction between cars that never tried to look good like the 2CV and ones where designers were paid lots of money and the car still looked ugly.

Nice to see I'm not alone in thinking the BMW 5GT is a hideous looking car.
