Tyre offsets!!

Can someone please explain this to me!!!!

I have a C2S so it has a wide body and I am looking for 18" Turbo wheels but I am finding all the wrong rim offsets. My rear wheels need an offset of 40 and most of the wheels I come accross tend to be 65 and from narrow bodied cars. Can I use these wheels with spacers eg: 15mm spacers. Am I on the right track or am I barking mad, please end the confusion!!! My head really hurts.

Yes you'll need 25mm spacers and bolts. Personally I think its not advicable to have such large spacers. 996 wide body re wheels (11" rear with 45mm offset) will also work as per my car.

stick to the correct offset... surprised you can't find the correct offsets for the rear as almost every other set of turbo wheels are for WB cars ! I had real difficulty finding a set for a NB car !

so where are you looking ! as I would like to know !!

Done and all sorted now and got the right offsets. I got 18" turbo wheels and am very happy with them especially the way they make the C2S look more complete.

I am a happy man now especially as I have been without my car for a month now.

There is a guy on here selling a set if you look under parts for sale, Ebay has them every so often and also checked 911 Porsche world. Took a bit of time but got there in the end.
