Hi

Can anyone answer me whether Pirelli PRosso 275/45/ZR/19 are legal tyres in the UK. Someone wants to sell me some new Cayenne Wheels with these tyres on which he says are German imports. I dont want to buy them if they arent suitable or legal.

Any advice?

The main thing that determines whether a tyre is legal for use in the UK is the 'E' mark. If they're from Germany then they should be OK as their tyres also need to bear the 'E' mark (or any other EU country for that matter). You'll find however that most of the Jap imports that come over here land with non-'E' tyres and most domestic market American tyres are non-'E' also.

Pirelli PZero Rosso are the latest development of the Zero range. They are N rated by Porsche and are original equipment on several models.

You will be quite legal with these boots.
