I'm looking for a light weight trolley jack for the 911 and wondered if anyone had any recommendations ?
You can certainly buy cheap ones, but the better ones seem to vary between about £125 and £300 and I suspect it is pretty much horses for courses with cost and quality. It's not going to get a lot of use but I'd rather buy a decent one than two !

I needed a light weight one as I have to store it inside. Ended up getting the SIP 03902 for £125 delivered. weighs in at 12.5kgs

If i had a garage then I`d be buying the 40kg Arcan one from Cosco as that will last forever. Hoever it looks like they are OOS at the moment

They have these back in if you wanted something lighter. Not going to last as long but not a bad jack all things considered.

Another heavyweight option is this one, although i`m sure last time I looked (a few months back) they were £129.

I can recommend the Arcan, plenty for sale on fleabay but cheaper from Costco.

I too am after a Trolley Jack.
Maybe we could organise a GB?

If you get anything organised I would be interested depending on spec

Wow, a quad quote!

What are people's opinions on the jacks from SGS?
The 3 tonne low profile would suffice a lot of areas I think.

I like the look of the light weight ones from SGS. i jave read good reviews of them too. The steel ones look pretty much the same as you can get anywhere else.

I'd be after a 2 tonne one. I wonder if its worth approaching them once we have an idea about numbers if we are serious ?

Aluminium would be the way to go given the weight of the black version, circa 15kg less!
All in all, and from reading various reviews, customers are very happy with The SGS brand.
Let's see if we get a few who want one, good idea.
I'd also go for a set of axle stands too.

I've spoken with SGS Engineering who are up for offering a group buy discount on any of their products, we don't have to buy the same one. Once we know who wants what, and how many we are talking about, I can email them and they will confirm discount etc. without any commitment.

So who is seriously up for this ?

2.5 tonne lightweight aluminium one for me;
