This has been my first Porsche, but so far my opinion of the OPC's I have dealt with (Swindon and Solihull) has been very good. I know the cars are expensive so you do expect a lot, but some of you guys seem quite tough on them. :?

In the past I have had some pretty bad service with Nissan being the worst. I was one of the first to pick up a new 350Z, but it developed a fault within a day - when I took it in to Nissan they pluged it into the diagnostic machine only to realise that Nissan HQ had not yet distributed the codes for this model so thay could not fix it.

They said that it was not a major problem and told me to come back next week. The problem was electronic and I had no brake assist, no abs, no traction control, etc. The car at this time wasn't even very safe to drive. It took eight weeks to fix and I made nine trips to the dealership (the last one in the snow) - and I didn't even get an apology. Now - that's bad.

At least you get a nice cup of tea (in a cup) at an OPC!
