Richard Hammond celebrated his first day of filming for the new series of Top Gear by attending the TG Cars of the Year Awards last Thursday. On his first night out since his jet car accident in September, Richard was accompanied by co-presenters James May and Jeremy Clarkson, who confirmed that the first episode of the new series is due to air on January 28 at 8pm on BBC2.

Good news !

Those repeats on UK TV G2 are addictive though aren't they even when its the third or fourth time of watching !! And a fourth repeat of top gear better then 5 minutes of the revamped Fifht gear..

Fantastic - I too have been watching too many repeats. On Sunday I also skipped my sky planner forwards a week to see if it was on this weekend - just the bloody snooker!
