You'd know this anyway if you read the instructions, but the Zymol process works significantly better if the ambient temperature is at least 18 oC (65f)

I've noticed a significant difference in the quality of the finish that I've put on now compared to one I did in Jan...

Robert.

Yep, temperature can make a difference. The wax bonds much better with the finish when it's warm.

Got some Zymol as a birthday present back in November. Still waiting for it to be warm enough to use it dammit :(

That is why it is better to use your hand rather than an applicator to put it on. Also much more satisfying :)

Still got to klay bar mine, seems a bit daunting. I keep looking at that little tin but haven't mustered up the enthusiasm yet. I think i need to have a day of when i haven't got a hangover :(

Mitch,

You should be able to klay the car in about 40 mins, then if you are short of time do a panel or two each day

Quick question

Now that ma wee beasty has a couple of layers of the coconut goo, what happens if I now just want to wash her?. presumably I use the auto bathe, but even with the synth chamois, its difficult to get water spots and streaks out without repolishing the lass!!

Yep, Auto Bathe only, or just warm water.

The chamois does need a very thorough rinse before first use. I hope to have some very good microfibre drying towels soon (non zymol), these eliminate the problem of streaking/water marks etc.

Mine got the benefit of a £ 30 valet today - last of the big spenders ! It's as shiny as the day i got it so am happy. I've got a garage full of cleaning gear - that's where it's staying I'm afraid - I just haven't got the patience.

Each to their own.
