Hi all my best friends 996 Turbo cab has just been stolen of his drive Reg is YJ04 PJT Colour is black with black leather it also has dark grey powder coated wheels.

Tracker wasn't activated and when he rang up they wouldn't reactivate it even when he offered to buy lifetime membership

If they know the vehicle has a tracker, they can and will have it activated in order to locate it. Of course, most professional thieves will work around a tracker.

I have a tracker fitted to my car which is not activated. If what you say is true, where is the incentive for me to pay to have it activated?

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend's car....the registration number would be of help or at least some numbers of the registration plus colour of inside and out......I spend eight hours of the day driving the London streets as a cabby and always have my eye out for any Porsche 911.....spotting Porsches has become a sixth sense with me so who knows.
