Hi all,

This was flagged on a recent service i had, "slight play in both front steering inner knuckles"

anyone know if i can DIY and what parts i need to get

Thanks.

Slight play, I wouldn't worry about it, when was the last MOT?

Slight play is just an advice .. up to you if you replace .

You will need a 32 and a 36mm spanner or crows foot ..

Undo the 18 mm nut on the track rod end .. crack off the 22 mm nut on the track rod arm , ball joint splitter .. remove rack gaiter ..

From memory the original is a 32 mm so a spanner or crows foot and undo .. replace with new but its a 36 mm again from memory .

You will need a tracking check done afterwards .. you can mark everything before removal but due to play it won't be correct .

About 0.8 hrs labour plus parts at an Indy per side plus geo adjust .
