Can anyone recomend a re-trimmer for my comfortably worn stearing wheel?

I dont mind paying a price, as long as the outcome is Excellent

Thanks

I'm sure Southbound could do an excellent job - maybe at a cost... Nothing much in you - and my - local yellow pages. Why not ask at a decent local bodyshop and ask who they use/can recommend?

BTW, I'm just up the road in Risboro!

Ah, map lies a bit... I'm just off the Aylesbury Road, before Monks Ris.

You in Wycombe itself? And what is your beast? Looks like a Turbo or a Supersport.

BTW, Risboro Coachworks have a reasonable reputation, I think. Or try Premier in Luton (P-approved) or Specialised in Reading (have done stuff for me).

Na... Im in risbrough.. Up new road. Hawthorn..

Its a supersport. the pic is when i first purchased it, about 3 months ago.

Its actaully going into a body shop on saturday to have a couple of rust spots done, 964 mirrors, and i have a OE set of supersport wheel to go on her, which i`m having painted blue..

So if you know anyone who`s after a set of very clean cup 1 wheel`s, with 2 new rear tyres (5 miles old)
.

I take it from you sig. you have a 993.... mmmmmmm (one day ).

I have a friend also who use Premier, as they have a good rep. in the VW following..

Pretty much a stone's throw away, then. I'm in Queens Road, just opposite the Paddocks Hosp. Sound like a mutual-admiration get-together is called for - when you've had your tweaks done.

I think Premier are good. Just expensive, like any P-approved shop...

Yep.... get to gether sounds good.

Just had a quote back from southbound trimmers for the wheel retrim..

£460...... i was expecting £200 ish.. thats a lot.

May try to see how much a new one is, if it`s still available.

the car is going to HRD classic`s in loadwater. he came highlt recomended, as he does mainly old aston martin, jag, jensons restors.... so finger X..... came across as a honest guy.
