My 993 Targa is now for sale. If you're interested please see the forum's adverts and contact me if I can be of assistance. Thank you.
Speed Yellow, colour of champions. GLWTS.

Love speed yellow. If you've not done it already, might be worth calling round some of the well known specialists. Supply is very short at moment, and all are looking for good quality stock. Summer months are coming, so yellow targa might be attractive. Maybe 911v will be interested to take it back. GLWS

Thanks folks. I've contacted several specialists and had some positive interest which is great.

Following several PMs between myself and 'blackpool1980' on this forum yesterday Simon said he would like to view my car today. He had my phone number, email and access to PMs on this forum to contact me at any time. He didn't turn up at the agreed time of 11.00 am nor in the 2.5 hours I waited in for him after the agreed time. I accept that he may have experienced some problems on his 4 hour journey or something else may have cropped up but he didn't arrive has not been in contact.

I've always found forum members extremely helpful, thoughtful, resourceful and responsive so I just wanted to express my surprise in finding one member that apparently is not. I'm not at all bothered that he did not arrive to view my car, I'm just taken back that 'blackpool1980' didn't have the courtesy to let me know he had changed his mind about the viewing.

Rant over! I hope others do not experience anything similar.

993

Totally agree that is unacceptable. How long does it take to have the decency to give someone a call to say they can't make it or have changed their mind!

Totally agree.

Annoyingly, this is quite common on here and other forums, and not just with vehicles.

Replies to 'wanted' posts with details/pics often just go unanswered. Probably a sign of the times we live in.

There's no penalty for withdrawing interest or declining - just let the seller know, for goodness sake.

It's called common courtesy.

Manners cost nothing... at least you dodged a muppet!

Is he a regular forum user this "blackpool1980" as I can't seem to find a profile?

C.

On the 1 in 1b chance that he died. RIP.
Back to the real world, this is one of my gripes of living in this country, a general lack of respect of other people's time. If he contacts you again, send him one of these, 🖕, and one of these👋, and a big f*** youse.

......... water under the bridge even though downright selfish. Car now sold to a rightly well-respected Virgin! Thank yo'all for you interest and support 👍👏🏼😃

I was at 911v today when the new buyer was doing the transaction
