Specialist Dealer - PPI (again)

Looking to buy my first 911 (993 C2) - and have seen one that I think fits the bill at Hendon Way Motors (HWM). I'd sort of assumed that one of the benefits wrapped up in the dealer premium was no need to get a PPI done...oops, lucky I stumbled across this forum then...

Does anybody know anything about HWM - do I really need to get a PPI done if I'm buying from a 'reputable' specialist dealer, and where would I get one done that's handy for HWM???

You've got two of the ver best independent specialists right near HWM.

Jaz are just next to Wembley Stadium

From what I've heard about HWM I would suggest a PPI would be a good investment.

The link will explain in more detail but it appears that many things that should have been done(and were agreed) were neglected and the customer service was less than excellent. Now they are not exactly alone in this area but from all the specialist dealers I've seen commented on they and one other have had the worst press(the other have their own thread on this forum).

Not attempting to put you off, possibly the car is superb(likely I expect, after all it comes from Stuttgart) and the service may be great, just giving as much info as poss.

I live 5 miles from hendon and have never heard anything about HWM. Take the car to Jonas at JZ Machtech. 01923 269788. Have you tried looking at Portiacraft in Mill Hill, they are pretty good.
