Been a bit hectic but for anyone remotely interested here's wots happened.
Kept the RR and had it chipped by Turbochips (thanks Rob :wink: ). The asthmatic old harpie is positively lusty in her performance now so will stick with it for a while. Up 35 BHP, a bunch more torque and better fuel economy too. Chris did the chipping at home on a saturday morning and was done in an hour and a half. Throroughly recommended.
The C4S passed muster at the service with no leaks/squeaks or streaks. warranty renewed etc. Then, round to Chandler Stewart of Tonbridge, for her bum to have the nasty american pimples removed and her 4rse returned to its J lo glory. I also had a shopping trolley scrape done which involved having the door repainted. They did a suprb job (photos to follow), but the fellas bringing her home took a wrong turn and drove a mile down a dusty lane before turning back. Daniel from Chandlers was mortified when he heard, and called me to tell me to bring her back at my convenience to have her washed and tidied up again to show the work they did in its true light. So people doing a good job and providing great service do exist and I've been fortunate to have loads over the last couple of weeks.
Finally, I quit my job after 6 years and it was tough saying tata to some great friends and colleagues but it had to be done. So 6 weeks of gardening leave and then start with the new mob at the end of june.
Ocean carrera revealed himself (not in the biblical sense) and a thoroughly good lad he is too.
