sold 993 ---now a Ducati 996!!

sold my 993 after 2 years and a total cost of £34k .....was only worth 20 zzzz!


im having a bike (ducati) for summer - gonna use the 993 money to make some more money and buy a lovely 993 in a year or two!






was an expensive exercise..! bikes are better in sun -----!!

Chris - With the spare money you could always employ a good chiropractor to sort your back/wrists out after the 50 mile sunday morning run..................


Why not keep the car and get the bike as well. The 996 is the dogs bits (why not a 998R) with f
ull carbon fibre fairing, Ohlins suspension, Marchesini wheels and a soundtrack to die for (Termignoni race cans) - the only thing I can think of that's as good as the bark of a 993 or Spitfire come to think of it.

missing my 993 but mates turbo 993 is better for a qwik blast!

I recently did a similar exercise - shuffling cars and bikes. In the end parted with my Caterham and Elise and have substituted them for a 993C4S & Honda Firestorm (would love a Ducati in the future though 748or 996 would do a treat).

My friend tries shuffling the cars and bikes. Has ended up with 4 road bikes, 2 track bikes and a trials bike!!

Plus the 996 etc etc.

He just cant make his mind up! Its an expensive game this is!
