So i finally went and did it

16 Oct 2013
After about 18 months of procrastinating over which of the many flavours of 911 to get, and debating whether my mid life crisis was sufficiently well developed, i finally took the plunge and acquired a 997.2 C2S a couple of days ago.

My thanks to the ever-helpful Mr Pearce of Stirlings.

I confess i got up a bit earlier this morning as i wanted to drive to work.....

:welcome: I know the feeling very well.
And you will find yourself driving the "long way" home from home :)
First time i've driven it in the dry really today.... love the turn-in - coming from a Z4M with a big heavy iron lump up front it's a revelation

You've just done what I did exactly 4 years ago today.

Once bitten ,forever smitten. There's no escaping now.
Congrats!

Details and pics please.

Can't go wrong with the Pearcey!
Congrats, its a great feeling.

I dont think it will fully go away, ever.

pics when i've washed it tomorrow morning :)

and yes, sage advice from Mark P was much appreciated, I spent a bit more than I planned to but I feel like I made the right choice given the miles I do

The car is an absolute joy - won't be buying another BMW any time soon!

I expected to read the above in the 993 section.

You'll have a good car if Mark Pearce was involved.
