Steam cleaned the interior carpet:

At some stage someone fitted a one off speaker in the drivers door:

Reverted back to original just to match up the rest of the set up (not to everyone's taste):

Anyone know what this is? Presume part of an old alarm system?

And finally a goog clean up:

Great job, really brought the mats and carpet back to the "as new" condition! Love the 964 in white! :)

You own my favourite 911, a white 964 C2 is my most desired 911 :thumb:

That black box could be something to do with the audio unit. Nokia used to build items into the door on 993

I think the box is a splitter for directing hi/low frequency to the tweeter or main speaker.

So it's after market ? Over the years I think it's had a few audio and alarm systems as there a number of additional parts/ box's and cables that I'm going to remove.

In a previous post we talked about my seats having a gloss shine and someone mentioned Gliptone so bought the cleaner and conditioner which worked a treat:

Most of the shine is sun reflection as they have a general mat finish now so thanks for the advice :thumb:

No it's the original crossover box they were supplied with. If you take the door card off you'll see how the wires route from there to the top tweeter and bottom woofer.

When I fitted RS door cards I changed to coaxial speakers so that I could get rid of the crossover box because there was no where to fit it.
