As some of you may be aware I bought my 997.2 S a couple of months ago, and the indy did the second service which OPC advised would be OK, if Porsche parts were used.

Well after lots of worrying just in case it would effect my 2.5 year warranty, I decided to bite the bullet and get a Porsche service stamp in my book. So now I have an Indy stamp in my book on 17/05/2013 31,789 miles, and a OPC stamp on 09/07/2013, 32,060 miles. So now it should be one of the best serviced 911's going.

OPC quoted six hundred and something for the service, and then said if it needed plugs there would be a charge for this. Well they called me to say it needed plugs and a brake fluid change, so the total cost was £1176.52.

They also asked could they keep the car overnight because they found one of my suspension springs snapped (I think this is what they said) so they were changing them both under warranty.

All in all it was an excellent experience minus the dent in my wallet.

I was given a diesel Cayenne as a courtesy car. I was hoping for a 991 (we can all live in hope :-)). I thought the Cayenne was great to be honest, brill performance and a nice ride. I did actually say to the other half that I would actually buy one, when I start acting my age lol.
