I'm looking to sell my 05 997S which I have owned from new. Looking at a number of websites, I have seen similar cars ranging from low 20S to 29K. What's the best way of deciding on a price.

Any help much appreciated. 47k/Silver/manual/chrono/sat/sport seat

Have a look at similar examples with the same spec /mileage as yours currently being sold on the most popular websites and price your accordingly. Maybe a little higher if it's in pristine condition - I mean in truly pristine condition. To get the very best price, list some of the optional extras that may be rare to find on other cars like PSE, sport adaptives, X51 etc.

Another thing to point out is if the car recently has had the 111-Point check, or if there is any transferable warranty. A recent Major or minor service should also be mentioned, as these tend to be things which prospective buyers are seeking (especially OPC warranty if you have it).

Thanks for the comments, any recommendations on websites to be used for the sale.

I agree with all of that, having been looking to buy recently. Some say silver isn't the most popular colour (I disagree) but taking age/mileage into account I'd be expecting to pay 24-25k for that, depending on service history, condition of brakes/tyres and when the next major is due.

Best of luck

I agree.

The 997 is one of the few cars that looks great in silver.

Impact bumper cars look amazing also in silver, especially with black fuchs and stone guards. 8)
