running costs

I am looking to purchase a 3/4 year old C2 / C4 996, it will be my first porshe and would like some information on servicing costs and replacement parts such as exhausts, tyres,clutches and any things to look out for mechanical.

Servicing at a good independent should be around 200 quid for a minor 12k service and 400 quid for a 24k major sevice.

A new clutch fitted would be around 700 quid.

Depending what size wheels you have tyres should be between 100-250 quid per corner for a top brand N-rated tyre.

Not sure on exhaust prices, but they're generally very solid and shouldn't need replacing (unless you want more noise).

As for things to look out for, take a deep breath then do a search for RMS!
