i have the 19inch sport wheels fitted to my 2001 C2 and the ride is rock-hard (grip and steering beyond reproach...)

i sort of remember reading somewhere that you can improve the ride by reducing the tyre pressures a little, providing you don't travel at silly speeds.

anyone know anything about this????

There was an article in Autocar which talked about doing this, I tried it and it does make some difference - only an issue you are going over 120 mph

19 inch wheels on british roads....ouch. Unless you like that kinda thing and use it for track days, I would change down to 18s. I know of people who will not go over 17 for road use.

Oh, and you say ''the 19 inch sport wheels...". 19s have never been an option on 911s, what do they look like? A pic of your car would be nice

Yep, 18 inch sport design. Very nice! Don't see why the ride should be so hard, have you got sports suspension?

Jono,

NICE car! Love the wheels my sister has bought a lapis blue C4 cab with these wheels. Nightmare to clean. Get James round and buy some Zymol.

James and his army of men with rippling muscles! It's the price you have to pay for having nice wheels...

CT993,

My sister always buys the same car as me usually within 3 months. Atleast this time she picked a different colour. She also went for a spoiler.

My brother is getting a bit naffed off having to drive an MR2.

As for drooling, I drool at my car every day. My sister is a bit less of a petrol head, more into the look and how it looks with her in it, gorgeous usually!
