I just saw the worst looking replica ever of a 930 Turbo.Externally it looked quite sweet internally Had a dash and seats from a 80's Sierra or some other shocking Ford. Steering wheel about the size of a Dustbin lid.

I will try to get hold of a digital camera and post this bad boy. Shocking.

Anyone else ever seen these things?

Or maybe you haven't seen what the cabin of 911's used to be like!?

Explain yourself young noony.

This was a serious piece of sh*t.

Steven, was it a kind of aqua blue metallic colour? There is one in the Dundee area and externally it looks OK but something not right (i.e peashooter exhaust). Not had a look inside of it though.

I think I have seen that one too Ronnie. This one made the aqua marine one look like your genuine one!

This was white and so bad that I just left my office at lunch to have another mocking look. The guys misery was complete because when I went back someone had parked a brand new Vanquish right next to him

Was it one of those Covin replicas?(kit-cars)

LOL! Best bit:

"Pull this car up next to a $70,000 Lexus convertible, a $45,000 BMW convertible or a $55,000 Mercedes CLK convertible and see who gets the attention!" :?

I think it was a Covin. That must be the CGT replica that young Noony was referring to.

Might go nicely with my fake Rolex and Cubic Zircon jewels.

It has the same groung clearance as a Cayenne. Maybe its a new Cayenne GT still to be released.

Didn't work. It's the same as the one on ebay anyway.

Tha CGT rep' has been around for a while now on ebay, no wonder. I especially like the line, '.....Now with this extremely rare offering, you can get a very high quality accurate reproduction for a small fraction of the cost.....'. I wonder if accurate means the same in the U.S. If it was on sale here you could possibly get them under the trades descriptions act. When they cobbled that together the CGT's final look hadn't even been decided. Maybe there will be some fool out there who will enjoy parking it next to Lexii and the like.
