Re sprayed steering wheel controls

When I got my car I had scratched steering wheel controls. I looked for replacements but they was also scratched. Rather than replace I decided to spray the same colour as the car along with the Y piece.

I'm not sure on the look?? Just wondering what others have done and what's the thoughts on having the controls the same as the car along with the Y?

I tried a few combos before realising the controls need to be silver with the Y-Piece darker in my opinion. It looked ok satin black but still best a contrasting colour to the airbag. I've gone for real carbon fibre in the end

Yea all black is too much. I had my all satin black to start with and it looked like a taxi wheel, just lost all its character
