When I push the back box the noise stops. Any ideas?

I would bet one of the support welds has cracked between the pipes, this causes a metallic rattle as it vibrates.

Or could be one of the baffles has come away inside the back box.

Cheers Ducky. It's a rear bumper off job I feel!
Any other little tasks to tackle while this is off?

Not necessarily a bumper off if it's a support, you can see some of the brackets from underneath, and if one of those has broken it can be welded in situ. I usually press the brackets with my finger (with the engine running) to detect the broken one, as it can be very hard to spot. :thumb:

Not too sure what else should be checked with the bumper off (I've not had mine off as yet), but I would be checking the heat shields and their brackets for any wear and tear, and anything else you have access to.
