Hi guys

Just looked at a car - Can anyone tell me if the sport chrono dash timer is meant to light up? Km surf I saw a picture somewhere it lit up at night - but I may just be going mad!

Yes, comes to life and lights up. Goes off/back to sleep once you reset it.
 
It might had been a 991 what you saw. There is a permanent lightning. At the 997 it is as Seventy Seven described.
