I've been looking, lurking and learning since May and have a 996 Turbo in my sights. Who can you recommend for a PPI in Essex. Grateful thanks.
G.

not Peter Morgan :hand:
Save your money. lots of much better options :)

You could try the guys at Autostrasse in Coggeshall (near Colchester). Good guys, but not sure if they do PPI's per say, but they do know their way round a rear engined Porsche. Worth a phone call.

A fellow Porsche enthusiast friend had his sights on a 996 Turbo in Ilford and used H P Motorsport (Joe?). It was not what I call a comprehensive PPI that lasts a few hours and includes download and interpretation of the ECU data or anything like that, but a one hour labour charge to look the car over and scribble some notes in his Jotter Pad and share his thoughts with us about the car.

Honestly cannot tell you how good they are or make a recommendation - simply stating there is a Porsche indy near Ilford - which is what you asked about - is there anybody who can do a PPI in Essex.

Before you ask, no he didn't buy the car - found a lower mileage example for similar price in a much better condition.

Many thanks guys, not needed now, car was a huge disappointment. I called at Dove House on the way back from Essex and was quite impressed with the standard of the cars they had for sale. They had a nice Turbo but it was a manual.
