She has just returned from a Porsche specialist this week end, just had a bit more work done, electrics/wiring has been checked over, full service oil, filter, plugs, new coil, new crank sensors and other bits.

But the main thing is that she has been fired and she started on first key she sounds and runs 110%

i thought i just post a few pictures of my 911 i have been building over the last 4 years.

She is coming to a end very soon, most the hard work has been done, finding parts, the right type of wheels,

Very nice, wide body 964's are :thumb: :thumb:

there will be a few of us with these shortly :)

:welcome:

A fair few 964s getting the treatment they deserve at the moment.

A bit more info on what you have done etc would be nice.

hello, just abit of more info, she is not a 964, she started life as a 1975 2.7, some of you guys may hate her, not original. Had a full rebuilt 3.2 engine fitted, all steel rear quarters fitted, 965 front and rear bumpers, i have the original 965 rear wing and also have the 3.8 rs rear wing, so i can change around depending on my mood, the wheels were a expensive cost, original 19" gembella turbo sport 3 piece split fitted with 335/25/19 on the rear. she has been painted to a very high spec in porsche deep black gloss and laquered on top.

Hats off to anyone willing to devote that much time and energy rebuilding a car  .... and I want rears like those!

Those rear wheels are huge!!! :bandit:

I had the 18" version (10" wide) fitted on my 964 until I swapped-out for BBS LM. Originally made by RH Alurad and supplied to Gemballa amongst others.

Good luck with your project!

Chris

hello criss, before i bought these wheels, i contacted a agent of gembella in germany, he quoted me £8,900 for a set of four rims only, plus vat and carriage. Crazy!

In the end i saw these wheels on a porsche 911 that was up for sale, the chap selling the car would not sell the wheels separate, i even offered him up to £4.5k for the wheels, he still said no.
After a long thought i bought his car, took the wheels off and sold the porsche a few weeks later.

Now that's a mission for a set of wheels! My kind of dedication :)

Keep us posted on the progress.

Chris
