Hi all

Where’s best to buy new valve cover gaskets for my Porsche Cayenne S 4.5 V8 2003.

UK based

Thank you

I struggled and had to source each bank from different suppliers. When you do this, also do the seal for the round thing on the front of the left valve cover. Might be the OSV, but will be knackered and crusty by now.

If not already done, do coils and plugs whilst you're there.

Also, the rear valve cover bolts are very close to the firewall, you'll need a very low profile wrench to get at them with the right Torx or 12 sided spline bit. Be careful lifting the covers off, as the camshaft position wheel for the sensor is at the back, so lift up before coming forwards.

Something like this with Mole grips on the handles to get more leverage.
