Doesn't somewhere make modern day 917 replicas that are road legal? They'd be deadly!

Footage of those cars round the 'ring is just mental.

They (917s) run at classic Le Mans alongside Ferrari P3s, GT40s et al. That could make for a better spectator event than the new quiet diesels?!

This years Classic Le Mans was incredible - to see the 935's coming into Arnage at night with the two turbos so hot they glowed brighter than the brake lights was...spiritual :D
