For Sale Porsche 911 996.1 Carrera 4 Manual Coupe

Car, parts, accessories, number plates and all sorts for sale.
If this was black.....I would have been tempted! A few subtle mods really enhance the look of a 996.

I’ve passed this onto a friend who is looking, seems great value, I’m sure he will be in touch shortly

Yup! Guilty.

Tbh I forgot I'd posted it here but I do check my linked email and have only had the 1 enquiry via the forum.

The car was on several FB owners groups, car & classic, pistonheads and eBay. Interest has been "light" at best. Lots of the usual IMS questions, a few enquiries for detailed photos of every nut and bolt and the odd sub £10k offer.

As such, the car is now tucked back up in winter hibernation. I guess I'll see if anyone has any money come spring.

I dare say those folk manage to pick cars up as they aren't fussy and there's bound to be people out there just needing to release some cash.

The other end of the spectrum is extremely nervous buyers who expect a 24 year old car to be like a new car and seems to manage to convince themselves you're hiding a massive issue with the car. I suspect these people never will buy. They just like the idea.

Yeah I’ve seen that, people buy an old car and then bitterly complain that a switch is worn or there is a little piece of trim missing or something else. They seem unable to understand that they’re not buying a new car and they feel like they’ve been cheated.

It’s worse because repairs or new parts on an 911 are expensive and they quickly find themselves looking at a big bill to make it like new and then they feel even more cheated.

Yeah super cheap, and in Meridian too. People must be counting their pennies after the Labour onslaught.

My lads Boxster S is. Proper nice colour. I wonder if it's the same one?
