Pictures of Nordlicht headlight?

Hey all, I'm considering to get some of the Nordlicht headlights for my 997.2, after noticing how terribly dull they are at night. My other car is a 2024 model which means the lighting is up to date, bright and crisp. So want to give the 911 a refresh and bring it as inline as possible, from my xenons.

On the Design911 site they have both the silver and black variants of the Nordlicht headlamps, but there are a very small amount of images online of these on cars, my C4S is silver and I'm trying to work out which light setup will look best.

Can people share pics of theirs?

Or recommend any other solution for UK cars that I might have missed. The Porsche oem lights are very expensive.

I’ve been looking at the Nordlicht ones myself for a while, can’t commit u til I’ve seen a set in the flesh though I think

Yeah tis is the problem, there's hardly any pictures out there. I think they'd do a much better job of selling them if there were pictures!

@nordlicht if you're reading

I think the reality is Nordlicht = Alibaba.

You can get them from there around £500 cheaper and I can’t imagine they are any different. I may well bite the bullet and order a set see if they are any better than the litronics

Oh, that would put me off due to quality concerns

A bit of a tangent, but I saw yesterday that there is a chap who posted on FB that he is currently designing a modern headlight unit which he hopes to bring to the aftermarket in the future. See below:

He was looking for ideas and feedback about how to improve his design. I already commented that he should look to support both RHD and LHD because the Morimotos don’t and that limits the markets these could be sold into.

The other good news is he is looking to design a modern rear light unit for the 997.2. One which from the outset would eliminate the water ingress issues and also be serviceable unlike the Porsche OEM design.

Doesn’t look like the link to the FB post works from here 😩

Stuttgart Classica are supplying the Morimoto XB headlights. I asked them about lhd vs rhd and they told me that they had no problems with MOT headlight checks on their 997....

That surprises me as when I got in touch with Morimoto, they said they weren’t making rhd versions, so it must be a mot issue. It would be nice for confirmation on this

Have a chat with Stuttgart Classic, they seemed very confident that it wouldn't be an issue......
