Walked my son to school across the fields.

Returned to OC Towers for home-made hot-cross buns for breakfast.

A few other chores....

Then I cleared and sectioned three BIG fallen tree branches from a path, ready for the fire, using the Husqvarna. In all there was a small trailers-worth. Used the 3.0R to drag the logs home, and stacked them in the porch.

Ideal weather for a small wander, so my work for the day done  I dragged the 993 out of the garage.

Traffic was hell.

I got lost in the woods....

...then I noticed a few horses had escaped

Happy Easter. :bye:

A beautiful day. Sun out, 4degrees, dropped the top and went for a blast.

Been a while since I was able to do this so take any chance possible.

and I've spent the day on the office looking at pics of 993's

nice pics to get us all thinking of drives to come this summer :thumb:

A perfect day indeed.

But just how mental were these branches :puh:

....whither goest thou, Mads?

Nothing too special in the way of special driving fun just the run down to the I.O.W. but might come back via the Meon Valley.

I am hope to take the old girl over to France for 10 days end of April or beginning of May for better fun.

I had a good day yesterday,
Got my 993 out of winter storage, gave it a top to bottom clean, fitted 'all red' Turbo rear lights, a 996 Turbo S black leather steering wheel.

The car had some serious stalling/idling issues combined with jerky driving following it's winter garage stay, so I decided that I would tackle the ISV clean for the first time ever!

Good news is that it took me less than an hour to remove it, clean it and refit :thumb:

It was COMPLETELY jammed solid and was 100% inoperative, and took 30 minutes of soaking and scrubbing with carb cleaner before it operated freely again.

The car now runs and idles spot on and is much smoother to drive :D

Happy days!

Pretty perfect weekend for me so far.

Blasting through the highlands to end up in the Outer Hebrides in glorious sunshine. The road from Tarbert to Stornaway is immense!

Scenery aint bad either.

I finally have the 993 in my own garage after nearly 4 years of having the car stored in the out laws garage. Had a great drive down to Eastbourne today to celebrate. Hardly any traffic on the roads and loads of passing opportunities and nice dry roads :)
