PDA mount for 993

Does anybody have a secure and unobtrusive way of mounting their ipaq (or other PDA) in their 993? I use it for Navigation and I've used windscreen mounts and vent mounts but don't really like either. I saw this company and thought might be worth a go

I made an adaptor plate for mine that was fixed under the passenger seat rail front RH bolt. The plate turned through 90 deg and was flush against the "transmission" tunnel. The fixing kit supplied with the PDA fixed to that, the PDA held on its bracket with a magnet. The end result was ok if the things "voice" was turned up high as it was a bit too low to look at easily - ok for my wife

Looks good. Unfortunately I'm not as creative as you! My new car arrives on Thursday (another 993) and I think it has the telephone option, so maybe I can mount something on that.

I have a clip from handnav.co.uk i think - it clips over the central vents from the lip on tyhe top of the dash and underneath th vent - it has held my ipaq securley for 8 months now - you get a model specific brodit holder and fix it to the clip - i thinkit is known as a smart clip?!?
