Paragon interview

I spoke with them yesterday. I still have my GTS for sale and as they have 2 white cars, they couldn't take on a 3rd at this time of year. Shame as it's a car of Paragon quality.
Its been a bit quiet since before xmasz as expected, but they have seen an increase in activity as of last week, so hopefully people are going to release their spondoolies into the bank account😁
No interest at all in the GTS

They already have 2 white cars. If it were another colour, they were keen to take it further

I also listened to this interview. Really enjoyed it. Paragon aren't in such a convenient location for me, so I haven't had any interaction with them, but I coud see myself visiting them at some point in the future.

I bought my 964 from 911 Virgin and I was similarly impressed with them. Hugely knowledgeable and seemingly endless patience in answering all of my questions. Reassuring to know that these outfits exist and that there's plenty of support for what can be an expensive hobby!

Also in the same boat as Jonw, I’m due to collect my new to me car from Paragon next week.
I had complete confidence with the sales chap I was dealing with (Jason) throughout and Marks interview has only added more confidence to that, as he confirms they only buy stock that is of the highest quality.

They’re 5 and a half hours from me but that hasn’t stopped me 😁

The Porsche Gods are trying to tell you something 😎 The GTS is a superb package. I've had a 997.2 Carrera S prior to this and can say it's noticeably better. If it were manual, I'd be in a tough position as to which car to keep.
It's right sized as a package, enough modernity inside to keep you content and all the performance you could use in the real world.

That's the Porsche gods telling you to sell it to me for fifty grand so I can explain to my wife that it was a deal I simply couldn't turn down :D

As I said to Paragon man, I don't understand why they're so undervalued in the UK vs. the Continent. The same car over there is €100k.

You're starting to sound like Zingari with his 993 valuations

Unfortunately it's happening, I offered a bloke £60k on a 718 Spyder he advertised at £75k, he told me to swivel, then six months later he dropped it to £60k and I offered him £50k, he told me to swivel, then months later, the last I saw it was advertised at £50k and his mate kept telling him to take my offer, but I don't want it now.

I got rinsed on my Caterham, so I don't feel bad low balling, it happened to me and it's just business - although of course it was just a tongue-in-cheek joke with you. However, if you need a quick fifty bags....:D

I was thinking about giving them a call regarding my 05 996 Turbo but I got the impression they're not likely to want a 996 unless it's say a GT3 even though it's a babe and only 16k miles.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them (Paragon) if they had the right car even though they're going to be say 10% more than a private sale, it'd be worth it 100% for the peace of mind knowing they've given it a thorough going over and they're hugely passionate about the cars they sell.

In my experience the difference would be nearer to 20%.
