Option codes

Guys,
I have just had another go at deciphering the option codes on the VIL. I'm nearly there, but I just can't find these:

X61
X62

Does anyone know what these are for?
BTW - I have leather on just about every surface in the car, and thought it could be this?

Also, at the bottom of the list is '09981' & '09991'
Are these on all UK cars, and what do they refer to?

I've done a little digging.

It seems that the "X" codes are a a little tricky to decipher as they relate to specific years. However, a poster to a thread on Rennlist suggests that they relate to the front spoiler (61) and rearspoiler (62) respectively.

Are your spoilers "non standard"?

An OPC should be able to call up a copy of the spec sheet for your car. The option codes fitted at the factory are all listed on this (in German, as I recall), so that is where I would start. OPC Byfleet were only to happy to provide me a copy when i went along to one of their open days.

all the best

tim

IIRC, anything X means Porsche exclusive.

Good chance a previous owner has removed the rear spoiler at some point.

Damn - I want it back!

I have noticed that the gas arms are after-market - but these do fail occasionally so could have been replaced. I think your theory is more likely.

I was considering getting a fixed wing before I get the car re-sprayed (so I can swap whenever I feel like it), but now I really need one. I'd better start looking......

Cheers Dom.
I can't find those part numbers in the PET, but I can see what look like my fronts with these part numbers:
Front Spoiler L/H, part 993 505 521 02
Front Spoiler R/H, part 993 505 522 02

These are mine......

Where did you get this information from, as I would like to try and find the correct rear spoiler?

Do you know what style wing this should be for:

A Turbo S rear spoiler on a Carrera? Removed for good reason I would say! Are you sure you want to put it back ?
