Hi guys ive got a problem, my oil level sensor doesnt work it reads over full but on occassions i get a low oil level warning come up, took it to JZM spent 300+ getting oil level sensor replaced still not fixed and was nothing wrong with original sensor!

Took it to JAZ they spent a day looking at it and couldnt find the problem just an error code for instrument cluster p1601, they said take it to OPC as may need new cluster!! :o . they also said ask on here.

Any ideas before i go to OPC.

Hi Mate,

I was the one at Jaz that day with the 996 turbo.

The one thing that just occured to me is that have you disconnected the battery and left it for some time, so that everything can reset?

Regards,
