Number Plates?

I've been waiting for nearly 2 months now since signing a sale agreement for my plates with National Numbers. The sale is in conjunction with the direct transfer of another set of private plates so i guessed it might take a bit longer, but i wasn't anticipating it taking this long! Is this usual or should i start pestering them?

I'm transferring a plate this week, didn't use an agency bought the plate direct from DVLA.

The transfer can be done on the spot with the V750 form at your local DVLA agency. Drive up with one plate on the car, get a new tax disc and amended MOT, drive home...sorted.

Postal applications can take "3-4 weeks"

Called National numbers yesterday, despite their paperwork stating 'under no circumstances phone to enquire about the state of a transfer' !! It should be another week or so, due to the double transfer.... it best happen soon, i've got an mot in a week!
