For the last couple of months I've gotten into a bit of a routine, check ebay, autotrader, pistonheads... then onto specialists 911v, cridfords, paragon etc etc. But my routine has been well and truly disrupted...

I've got myself an 04 Carrera 4S in Basalt Black, 47K miles, poverty spec (no satnav, not bose, no sports seats, no sunroof etc etc...), but it's lovely and clean.

I've had it just over a week and already covered 800ish miles and I should have got one years ago.

But... what do I do now...?

There are a couple of small jobs I want to tackle (squeaky throttle pedal and mesh inserts for the front bumper) then it's onto a double din install and possibly some 19" wheels.

I guess I can start to obsess over getting the car exactly as I want it.

It looks great, enjoy it.

You've plenty of time to tinker in the winter.

Congratulations, looks a stunning car :thumb:

... poverty spec ....

:floor: not heard that before!

That's a great looking car regardless of the spec (the Porsche satnav is rubbish, the sunroof unnecessary and the sound system easily rectified)

Petrol, loud pedal, smile, enjoy...

Or how was it the Blues brothers put it...
