I like that , can anyone photoshop that one black? be interested in seeing this as I have been toying with the idea the last few weeks as I find the Carrea S badge a bit fussy :D

I think it looks too much in black also the placement is wrong on this car. I went for the 991 "911" badge as it was smaller and chrome with a more squared edge. Probably sacralidge to mix model badges but looks cleaner imo. This is the one if anyones interested http://www.design911.co.uk/fu/prod13956/-911---Rear-Lid-Badge-Porsche-991/

Out of the above two pics I preferred the chrome '911' script.

QUOTE GT4- Do everything Rockunrolla suggests,

you wont remember but that was the advise you gave me 2yrs ago when i posted how to remove my badge on my 996 :thumb: :thumb:

I will, and I did.

It was the main reason I had nothing I add!

I have no issue with people passing it on.

I can, however, have a warm glow knowing where it came from.

It's when people acknowledge it that it is really appreciated.

:salut:

PS - as per our precious "discussion":

As told to me buy "GT4"

use dental floss in a sawing action between the badges and the car ,
they just fall off ,

Yep, but full quote was:

... or dental floss (which may be more gentle and thinner)

A hairdryer etc is not really necessary, but will soften the adhesive if the weather is too cold, then run the dental floss round the back.

Remove any residue with minimal white spirit or meths and a soft cloth (or even WD-40 as a last resort).

Wash area thoroughly and wax/polish to seal.

The above was of course to go "commando".

Always add an image if possible, adds to the texture of the website :thumb:
