Hi all

Been registered on here for a while, lurking around, but this is my first official post so be gentle!

I actually stumbled across the site while looking for a Boxster forum, but have now decided that bigger is indeed better and I am looking at a purchase of a 911 as soon as poss!

Whilst budget restraints say I should be looking at a reasonable 993, at around the £25k mark, I really (really!) want a 996 C4S ... seen one I like for £40k on a non-OPC dealer. Not the greatest spec in the world, but fits the main criteria of basalt black with black leather.

Given that the car, whatever it is, will be financed, I was wondering whether any of the finance gurus on here could let me know whether there is any chance of getting finance on this to work out at £500 per month, utilising a deposit and a balloon final payment.

Any help or comments gratefully received

Cheers mate

From what I've been reading if this 911 ever comes off, I may well be requesting your services bud - your work looks superb :)

the finance you mention keeps your monthlys down, but from what i see a post office loan ove rthe same period might cost more, but will give you a big saving on interest.

I am sure that someone will reply, which I hope they will as I would like to know the value of the balloon payment method

Rich

Easy!

£40K with a 10% deposit could be £500 per month and a balloon of just over £15K at 5 years. I do this kind of deal all day long.

Jamie to the resuce. Out of interest what would £50K with a 20% deposit and £525 a month leave as a balloon after 5 years?

Jamie,

What is your admin like? - I've used main dealer finance in the past and liked it because you don't have to give much in the way of detail save for your own name and address, employers name. Are you the same in this respect?

Robert,

We can achieve most deals now on the back of a credit search so name, address, date of birth and brief details about annual income.

Hi Clipstone,

Sounds remarkably like one I'm currently looking at & there's not many about at that price! Is it a 2002 manual with 27000 miles?

Gary

Gary

Sounds like we are after the same car - does it happen to be based in Sheffield?
