+1 on the wheels, Turbo alloys are not nice, I only put up with them on my Gen1 Turbo as they were "model correct"

A good choice.

Your car looks great.

It will really spend out against the sea of silver.

(Mind you, so would've yellow)

The body kit really suits it.

Hmm it's weird I think air cooled cars look the business in 'new colours' and water cooled cars look the business in 'classic colours'

Ie air cooled in Silver/black/grey

Water Cooled in Guards red or white (obviously)

Yellow just good on any 911

here's one next to the bins.

I'll take some tomorrow. The conversion was done by previous owner. You need to be aware there is sight of the bumper frame which should get a black coat of paint over the galvanized metal. Looks like previous owner stuck black gaffa tape over instead - but got to be right over the grill to see it.

Close ups of the front grill - you can see the PASM pipes and where the gaffa tape has come off one side- I would paint this if doing the job. You could wait till you have too many stone chips that would warrant a bumper respray to have it done. Alternatively there is a mesh kit which would help hide this.

All that said I think it looks great just dont stand looking down on it - not sure how this compares with the GT3 view.

Here is a how to

Template

If you are feeling brave I have a metal template which really helps with fitting.

Happy to lend it to you, if it's something you'd like to do. Makes the job much easier.
