For £65 per year (in addition to annual AA membership costs) it covers parts & labour up to £500 per repair (inc. VAT and subject to £25 excess) this sounded like a good deal for owners of older Porsche models, until I read the small print..... cars more than 10 years old are excluded, must have less than 100K miles, plus servicing must be in accordance with manufacturer recomendations (so probably OPC only). My 993's 10th birthday is next December, it's got a full OPC service history which I intend to keep going, so might still be worth having the AA cover if only for the next 10 months.

Do you know how many times you can claim in a year?

At the end of the day you are buying a warranty. A cheap one at that. Its just 'AA' branded. Look at the small print in the same way you would look at any warranty before deciding if it is worth it.

And a £500 limit per claim does not buy you a lot in a Porsche.

Ian.
