Hi All,been lurking on here for over a year or more now, and last month I finally took the plunge and got myself a 993 :)

I've come from a mk1 mr2, audi tt, background, so its quite a bit different to drive, but I'm mostly loving every minute
Had a few hassles with fitting my 'new' Becker headunit, ( a la Sundeep ), a punctured rear tyre :(
and now it would seem a dead battery, but every time the sun is shining and I hear the engine noise, that makes up for it.Anyhow, the car... its 96 N plate 993 C2, only got 32k miles on it, has factory M030 suspension, 18" hollow spoke turbo look alloys, sports seats, dashboard display computer, hi level 3rd brakelight, 40% locking diff, auto LSD, and the nokia hi fi pack. Oh and a code I've not been able to find so far.. 226 anyone ?So, heres the obligatory pictures after I'd fitted clear fronts and red rear indicators :)

cheers for the advice I've been reading so far over the last year and a bit guys, hope to be here lots from now on..

Congrats Toby, she looks and sounds like a fantastic example of the classic 993. The spec looks absolutely spot on. Great choice, good luck with her, and don't be afraid to ask any questions or post up your experiences with her! :)

I'm buying exactly the same car next week, same colour, seats, interior etc but a few more miles.

The only thing I want to change is the sound of the exhaust without going bankrupt, so if anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it.

Great car by the way! What good taste you have.

Sound improvements!

Have the engine undertray removed - improves cooling and increases sound. Cost zero.

RSR exhausts from Gert Carnewal

exchange cost 400 euro
