Hi all,

After much help from people on the forum, I have found my new toy - 997 Carrera S. Thanks all! :thumb:

I was a bit sad to read another thread in which people said they didn't like this colour... or the wheels... But I love it all!

I'm at the earliest stages of Porsche ownership so I'm keen to learn as I go along. This is a Carrera S, 55 plate, and I am bewildered by how good it is to drive!

Cheers!

Looks like trade seller..How did you find the vendor?

any recommendation for other buyers?

Cheers

Nearly every car is designed and prototyped in silver, so its always going to be closest to how the designer intended. And Carrera Classics are the easiest to keep clean!

Looks great, I love the classics myself so I brought a set for mine! :thumb:

Looks good. :thumb:
I love the Carrera classic, saw it on a black Targa..looked awesome.

Looks great, I'm almost a year into my 911 ownership, I still get the first day feeling every time I open up the garage an see it sitting there. Enjoy :thumb:

It's all looking very good from where I'm sitting ! You're a week ahead of me in ownership so I look forward to see how we are both getting on over the coming months  looks like RSJ's place ?

Looks good to me! But all that really matters is what you think/like!

Classics are timeless. Whereas, IMHO, claws are looking a bit dated (see Maxie's thread re his wheel swap).

The smile thing - everytime so far and that's before starting her up!

Enjoy.

But all that really matters is what you think/like!

So true, you are the one living with it so it's your opinion that counts.
Just enjoy :thumb:

Yes, definitley RSJ's place. Good choice - they will look after you very well from my experience. I'm now on my third 911 from them!

Looks great, love those wheels and don't listen to anyone who says silver is dull, most 911s are silver as it shows the curves off perfectly.

Great choice buying from RSJ, I've had 4 911s, 2 Caymans and an R8 from Joel, top bloke

Top car top stuff - enjoy Angus :thumb:

Thanks!

Use the search function on the forum - lots of useful info on here and always ask questions. People on here are a very friendly bunch and have a lot of experience with the main independent dealers.
