I'm considering changing my 993 C2S for a 993 Turbo. Any views on benefits / drawbacks, apart from the price difference - around £10/£15000 (is it worth it?) and servicing costs? I'm really happy with my two wheel drive, turbo-bodied car but now feel ready for a change. I had thought about a Noble, but changed my mind after a sick-bag track day experience!

Why not try an engine/ brake upgrade to your C2S. FVD do a turbo conversion for your car, one was done here by independent specialist House of Cars and everyone who's driven it raves about it; GT2 performance with everyday comfort and drivability. Not 100% sure of the cost but I beleive it was around 15K.

Thanks Paul

Yeah, I had thought of that, but somehow I prefer to keep cars as original as possible and therefore would probably go straight for a turbo. Anyway my plans have been temporarily put on hold thanks to the dealer selling the car I had in mind before I had a chance to have a PPI (despite me having one arranged). Anyway, next week we are off to Le Mans for the classic and I'll have another think after that.
