So, the guy who bought my car originally had the model designation deleted as an NCO but I'm not so sure I like the car like that. Anyone have any opinions as to whether I should get the Carrera badge and stick it on the back ?

And, other than the OPC, does anyone know where I could come by a badge and how easy this would be to fit on the car ?

Normally I prefer debadged cars, such as on Mercs, and BMWs. Looks neater I think. However, the Carrera badge on the back of a 911 just looks, well, right.

Agree. Silver letters on a dark car looks better than black?

Silver it would need to be, but where do I find one and how easy are they to position on a car ?

yer OPC should be able to get you one,and as for fixing it on,you could always try a friendly local bodyshop to see if they'd do it for a small fee.............provided you aint up to some DIY-ing

Me and DIY would be an absolute disaster and I wouldn't even want to try on such a nice car!

i allways put silver badges on dark cars

measure the distance from the base of the script to the bottom of the boot lid

get two post it notes and position on the boot lid so the top of the post it is the base for the script,

peel back half of the backing paper, and with the boot lid up, line up the centre of the paper with the centre of the boot lid catch

you then have the centre line

and the post it note gives you the correct position

then you just put the badge onto the bodywork
