As per the title: Just fitted some lovely red seat belts courtsey of Barry at inertiabelt.co.uk

The photos are, as usual, shite (taken on crappy iPhone 4S) - but good enough to give you the general idea

£161 for the belts (plus the return of your old set once they've been swapped over) and £12 p&p. They look great 'in the flesh', providing a nice contrast against the black and silver interior

They look great, but that twist in the belt would drive me nuts, your buckle should be on the outside.

Did you get all 4? Should have mine waiting for me when I get back, how long did they take to fit? Thanks again for the link.

Which "outside"? The "outside" facing outside, or the one facing ... inside?! :eh!:

Just take the twist out. See diagram and you can work it out from the yellow belt pic.

How long did it take you anyway?

Couple of hours in all - you have to be quite "firm" with the rear trim panels when removing them, and have a decent 17mm socket and wrench for the main three bolts each side

Belts untwisted now; the reel only fits in the retaining cage one way, and I'd installed them correctly in order to keep the belt straight (i.e. not twisted) behind the trim cover - the consequence was that the buckle then faced "inside" - i.e. towards the B-pillar (as you rightly pointed out e8_pack), and I then twsited the belt at the bottom (where it bolts into the floor/chassis) to make it "work" - the fix was simple: undo the belt from the bottom bolt, untwist it, then turn the buckle round on the belt ... in essence the buckle was twisted round the wrong way on the belt when I received it, and I should've worked that out during installation   :wack:

... Or Mr Star - either is fine

I'm not too fussed about the clips that came with the belts, they're good enough for me :thumb:

Red belts in a black interior look really good. Gives the inside a nice lift. Will add this on my list of mods for mine.
