Hi Guys

Some might recall I was on here a few months ago when Fifth Gear were looking for a 911 996 to film with for a used car buying guide.
Well I'm hoping the community can possibly help again. We are looking for a 996 Turbo for another Fifth Gear shoot on the 18th September at Rockingham Motor speedway from 8am – approx 6pm or earlier.
We are filming a feature with Tiff Needell and Jason Plato looking at equivalent new sports cars. There will be an element of track driving by either or both.
All expenses again will be covered, fuel, lunch and accommodation if required.
If anyone is interested at all please get in touch.

Cheers
Simon

Just to endorse Simon's credentials, I met Simon during the filming at Castle Combe which will be aired on Monday's first episode of the new series.

All I can say it was a really memorable day, something that I enjoyed and will definitely do again, all the North One TV crew are top guys and for me I spent the day with Jonny Smith who is a real pro, who also had lots of time for banter between shots.

Highly recommended, they will certainly look after you :thumb:

I watched an old Fifth Gear a few weeks ago where Tiff scared the c**p out of Jason in a 997 Turbo Cab (versus an Audi R8 Spyder).
There was a moment when they both looked at each other, winced, and Jason said 'did you hear the over revs ?'.
I wonder who bought that car from the OPC network ?

I really do wonder why somebody would feel motivated to let their pride and joy be mercilessly caned to within an ince of its life?..

Lets face it at the best your car will need a grands worth of tyres on its return to you!
:dont know:

I do look forward to the episode though..
..but not with my car! :hand:

As much as Jason and Tiff enjoy canning new cars they have absolutely no interest in driving an owners car anything like that, so anyone that was interested can rest assured clutch and tyres would remain as they were :)
Anyway as it turns out the filming of the 911 has been postponed/canceled because of a press fleet problem.

Thanks for your interest chaps

Can someone pls record and youtube tonight's show? We dont have discovery channel on 'Yorkshire Cable' (i.e. Freeview) :floor:
